♥ Yesterday, it was celebrate the 100th Toblerone’s Chocolate Anniversary. It’s true!!! This great chocolate have been surviving for generations, and now have 100 years old.
Wow… it’s a long time now… and do you know, that keeps all the same elegance and taste, and his unmistakable TOBLERONE logo?
The Toblerone’s was created in 1908, by Theodor Tobler (Jean Tobler’s son – the “Confiserie Spéciale” owner) and his cousin Emil Baumann (Production Manager). This unique Chocolate, with its special recipe and triangular shape, which is made only with selected and finest ingredients brought from all over the world, becomes the Swiss chocolate par excellence…
The “Toblerone” name’s is a word play upon the names: TOBLER (the creator family's name) and TORRONE (the Italian word for honey-almond nought).
Even, Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859), natural scientist, one day said: "At no other time has Nature concentrated such a wealth of valuable nourishment into such a small space as in the cocoa bean".
So, let’s buy one, and celebrate this sweet anniversary too…
